You are wanting a human being to look exactly like a comicbook character and do all the things that character does....for 7 possibly plus years.......ok

Don't have an answer for ya......just not realistic.

So either stay upset about it and allow it to ruin your enjoyment of the series, or wish Melissa the best, and enjoy what is probably one of the best portrayals of a comicbook character onscreen. That is a choice, Melissa's ability to do this longterm is reality.

She isn't Superman, she isn't Reign, she isn't Captain *&^%$!! Marvel or Batwoman. She's Supergirl! They've butchered the suit design for a refresh and completely tossed out the first rule for this character: Don't fix what wasn't broken!

perhaps this pic is of her season 1 - 4 suit, and the new suit wont appear until after crisis and it will be her post crisis suit?

By the looks of her arms, I suspect it won't be much different in design--minus the skirt. Unless, the picture was from an episode pre-suit switch. But, I'm leaning towards it looking much the same as before.

I suspect Winn will make a funny comment upon his return.

Melissa just confirmed new suit this season going to pants not the skirt....

That may be part of the reason they started filming so early, needing time to get in new shots....who knows. I guess we will see when it airs how they took care of those things.
